Goal Of A New Witch

Modern Witchcraft

For our first post, we want to discuss the 12 goals of a modern witch and how to begin your unique journey into this craft. This will help you understand the process of what we will be discussing in the next 12 months. As this magazine grows, your craft will become stronger. You will become more aware of your higher self and adapt to any situation hence helping you to control your anxiety and depression.

Bria started her Spiritual Journey in January as a Solitary Witch. Like many of you guys you probably don’t know where to begin as there is so much information out there. It’s overwhelming if you don’t have guidance.

We aim to make it easy for all types of people embracing this spiritual transition, and we appreciate any feedback to help make your experience one to not forget!

History of witchcraft?

From the mid-20th century, witchcraft – seldom called contemporary witchcraft to clearly distinguish it from older beliefs – became the name of a branch of modern paganism. It is most prominently practised in the Wiccan and modern witchcraft traditions, and no longer practices in secrecy.

Types of Modern Witches

There are many types of witchcraft, many of which overlap and all of which can be defined in different ways by different people, but here are some rough guidelines for their designations:

  • Green witchcraft: A Green witch is very related to a Kitchen/Cottage witch (see below) with the difference that the Green witch practices in the fields and forest to be closer to the Divine spirit. The Green witch makes his or her own tools from available materials from outdoors.
